I’m a certified Florida Master Naturalist through the UF/IFAS program offered by the Univerisity of Florida. I love hiking, kayaking, camping, spending time with family and friends, eating good food, traveling, and spending time with my dogs. I work in behavioral health. I strive to end the stigma of mental health challenges, as this is something that is very near to my heart. I studied psychology at Florida Gulf Coast University. In the fall, I will be working on my master’s degree in mental health counseling. Once I’m licensed, I will work toward combining my love of nature and my love of helping people with mental health struggles in some way that is yet to be determined. In the meantime, I use my knowledge of Florida, and my knowledge of mental health to get people out in nature and help them find their happy place! I used to be a portrait photographer, and later a nature and wildlife photographer. For this, I studied at the New York Institute of Photography. With this knowledge, I offer photography workshops, with a focus on nature and wildlife photography. My ultimate goal is to get people out in nature and to help foster a love of nature that will encourage people to protect and conserve the amazing natural areas of Florida.
